Out of the many smoothies I made during my one week liquid diet, this was one of my favorite ones. It was tasty, filling and full of healthiness.
This is your regular peanut butter and banana smoothie but with a bunch more nourishing ingredients.
The Hulk of Peanut Butter Banana Smoothies Recipe
Make 1 large smoothie
1 frozen banana
1 heaping tbsp homemade or store-bought peanut butter
1 tbsp of homemade or store-bought tahini
2 tsps honey*
1/4 cup oats
3/4 cup spinach
3 tbsps greek yogurt
1 cup milk of choice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 chopped large carrot
1/2 tsp Maca Powder
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Flax Seed Meal
Blend everything together and enjoy!
If consistency is too thick add some cold water and blend again.
*Notes: I added honey because my peanut butter is unsweetened, if yours is sweetened you might not need the honey.
The last four ingredients are optional but barely add to the taste of the smoothie and make it way healthier and powerful.
I let the oats soak in the milk for about 5 min before I blended so that it would be smoother.
