Greece has, for a long time, been the perfect destination for travellers on a budget looking for guaranteed sunshine throughout the summer months. We were just hanging out in Astoria, Oregon about 1 hr and a half from our home when instead of driving home that night, we decided to go further and explore Long Beach, WA. We spontaneously booked a room at a Bed & Breakfast and that weekend turned out to be the annual clam festival with all kinds of events going on.
Last Christmas Eve, Josh and I decided to go on a 2-hour road trip to Cannon Beach, a small city in Oregon. We had never been and all I knew about the place was that it is home to the famous Haystack Rock.
Last week I was in Acapulco, Mexico for 5 days during the Mexico Independence holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. I spent it mostly chilling and soaking in the sun (and the shadow) at the beach and poolside, and eating coconut ice cream. 1. I went grocery shopping and my total was $111 but then, the cashier typed something on her keyboard and randomly gave me $10 off. I don’t know why and she didn’t even tell me. She simply did it and it was awesome.
