The Oscar nominations are out. I am pretty passionate about films. After all, I did choose to study just that at college. For some reason I feel like this wasn’t a very good year for films though, nor for actors in general.
There were many movies that should’ve been good considering the cast but were really not. Not sure what happened. Nonetheless, I did see some amazing films, which apart from a handful, most didn’t get nominated. Here is my list: Continue reading “My Top 15 Films of 2015”→
Two of my favorite things ever are movies and travel. When you put the two together it becomes the best way to use up a few hours of the day, possibly inspiring and changing you forever. After all, I did move abroad to study filmmaking, combining two of my passions!
When I finished my first list, I realized there were more things I wanted to include, so I made a second list.
It is nice to reminisce about the big and small, the fun, the accomplishing, and the brave things I have done in my life. There are many of these that I had forgotten about or rarely think about up until I started proactively thinking about points to add to the list. Even if you haven’t traveled far, I am sure many of you can sit down and think about many things you have overcome or felt proud of in your life, even if it was a small thing in the eyes of others. I invite you to make your own list and do it either privately or share it.
Apparently as humans, we were never meant to be constantly comfortable, because our cavemen ancestors really weren’t.
According to Dennis Corsi’s post, comfort is overrated and the statements above are true. He says that in comfort there is no sense of adventure or living life at its fullest. I’m not completely sure if I agree with any of the above, but it made me think.
Some time ago I saw this post by Jenay about how she currently sees her life. She was inspired by another’s blogger post who was inspired by another blogger’s list, and so on. Now I have been inspired too, to think about where my life stands according to my mind right now. It’s a good exercise, especially if you don’t think too much about the answers.
